Hot-Headed Fiancé Took It Too Far When He Brought Up Fiancée's Belly In An Argument

The OP in this tale feels justified in his harsh words because he wanted to prove a point to his fiancée. He admitted that he knew she has veen experiencing low self-esteem. His fiancée has been feeling self-conscious about her weight lately. She feels that OP isn't attracted to her and doesn't want to sleep with her anymore. He claimed this was far from true. But why wouldn't she believe that after the way he responded after one argument? OP has also been feeling self-conscious about his receding hairline. He claims that she has been pointing out his insecurities so he has every right to throw it back at her. In his defense, he tried to tell her to stop poking fun at his hairline. She wasn't take it seriously so he then compared his thinning hairline to her belly. This is where the overstep can't be overlooked. He had the audacity to say, "what if I looked at your belly and made that same face." Naturally she is hurt and feeling worse than ever before. He went for the jugular.
